In January 2010, the poker tournament the Aussie Millions will be played att the Crown Casino in Melbourne. With a guaranteed prize of AUD$ 2.000.000 last year for the winner, the Aussie Millions 2010 should attract top players from all over the world! 2009 was the first year an australian, Stewart Scott, won the Aussie Millions. We’ll se if australia will be able to repeat that at the next event!

European Poker Tour

The European Poker Tour is played now EPT London High Roller and it is now clear that all eight will play today’s final table. Unfortunately, we did not have any Swedish as a finalist. Nearest came Joel Nordkvist which bubbled prize money, in ninth place. To the final table was less successful Erik Cajelias get, the player who won the WSOPE Event # 2. He is joined by Finnish high stakes player Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies, and the
PokerStars
Last year’s “November Nine” player Dennis Phillips. These three and five other players will today to sit down at the final table to make up for DE £ 542 000 who are waiting in the first prize.

Frenchman wins WPT Bogata

In history’s largest starting field ever in a World Poker Tour event, the WPT Bogata, we saw a Frenchman win the $ 925 514. Oliver Busquets, winner, managed to maneuver through a massive weight off in 1018 field to victory. Even if Olivier came to the final table, sitting with duoble as many chips as the closest opponent. Heads-up match between Olivier Busquets and Jeremy Brown lasted for over three and a half hour before it was clear that Busquets prevailed, it was a 3-to-1 advantage for Brown at the start of heads-up duel.

The board read {7-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{A-Hearts}, with Reinkemeier calling a 95,000 bet on the river. Neither Reinkemeier nor De Wolfe wanted to show their hands, but De Wolfe eventually said, “king-high.”

Where’s the gamesmanship was the headline on Pokernews yesterday. Neither De Wolfe or Reinkemeier wanted to show their cards.
